Photo OCR feature: When you use the optional photo OCR feature to scan a word list, the image is sent directly to Google's Gemini API for text extraction. Word Salad does not receive or store the image; it passes through to Google solely to identify the words in the photo. Google's use of data submitted to the Gemini API is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. This feature is entirely optional — words can always be entered manually instead.
When you visit this website, our web server may automatically log standard technical information, including:

- Operating system
- Pages visited and time of visit
- Referring URL
This information is collected in standard server access logs and is used solely for operating and maintaining the website. It is not linked to any personally identifiable information.
